Emily

Ah! When Emily wrote me asking for senior photos, she made a point of telling me that she wanted something fun. She brought along the balloons and bubbles, I brought the blankets and the bug spray.

We had a blast. Literally! We totally popped one of those fabulous red balloons in less than ten minutes. Thank goodness we got some great shots with them first! Luckily, bubbles were meant for breaking. I wouldn’t be surprised if we went through the whole bottle.

Emily told me she wasn’t concerned about “looking perfect” for the camera. I’m sad to disappoint her; I think she looks stunning in every-single-one. Am I right mom?

Katy in the water

Well we did it!

Last week Katy & I swam through the creek in the attempt to shoot a “floating dress in the water”. Alas, the water was high & fast, and the dress sank. This week fortified with my Oma’s vintage orange chiffon dress & 30 feet of sparkly orange tule; we conquered the creek! (It really helped that the water was about 2 feet lower this time. 😉 )

Katy & I braved the cold water and slippery rocks. It was still dark as ever. The sun slipped away the instant we pulled into the parking lot. Cest La Vie. We made it happen 🙂 Katy looks positively fairy like. I, on-the-other-hand, looked like a complete idiot racing around the water, hopping from rock to rock, with two giant cameras … I can’t wait to see Katy’s mom’s pictures of our photo shoot. But, thankfully, it doesn’t matter how silly I look. Katy looks amazing.

Success!

Sarah

Meet Sarah!

We rocked out last week at her awesome house in Applegate Valley. Instruments & animals are everywhere – it’s a veritable paradise! Sarah is a true spirit. I’ve never seen so many posters in one room! It’s outstanding. I won’t mention the life-sized Justin Bieber cutout in her room – oh wait, I just did 😉 She’s an aspiring actress & an accomplished musician. I wish her all the best in, what surely will be, an excellent senior year!

eden & ryan

I met Eden & Ryan on their 200+ acre organic farm last week. A farm with a working bakery on it! Yes, that’s right, a gorgeous place that smells like fresh rich bread.

*sigh. I offered to move in. I can water the gardens!

These two were stinking cute in front of the camera. Eden was loving “cuddle time”, and I’m pretty sure Ryan was enjoying the excuse to get close to Eden. They are such a warm and inviting couple, I didn’t feel like a voyeur. I felt like I was getting a hug.

I can’t wait to see them on their wedding day!
